Vivement juin 2016… »

Sometimes, we like imagining stories. Like the story of Ellen Kempner, the head of Palehound. While talking with her friend and flatmate Sadie, (who has since become singer of Speedy Ortiz) :

« Guess what  Sadie? I’m going to play in a festival in Nîmes, in the South of France, in June 2016. Do you know it ? »

« Really ? I played there in 2013 and i twas great. The hosting, the audience, the conditions, the sun, great rememberance. »

« I’m so excited, it’s going to be great. All the more since the edition looks like i twill be exceptional ! »

« Yes, it’s really one of the best festivals of this kind ! »

Anyway ! « Dry Food », Palehound’s last album is a folk-Rock disc, which electric and poetic songwriting, hard to apropriate but with great noisy quality. An out-of-time piece, lost somehow between Kim Deal, Pavement or PJ Harvey which authenticity and sensitivity makes us feel happy.

You’re so lucky, Ellen ? Let’s quickly come to June 2016 !
