Du porche à la piscine il n’y a qu’un pas ! C’est le chemin que nous propose Aaron Maine et son groupe Porches avec leur dernier album « Pool » (piscine en anglais) sorti cet hiver.
Le groupe s’est fait remarqué dès son premier album « Slow dance in the cosmos » publié en 2013 et entièrement enregistré dans l’appartement de Manhattan de son leader. Un premier album aux sonorités très… spatiales avec une pointe de guitare folk (si si ça se marie plutôt bien, écoutez !). Pour ce nouvel essai, place aux synthés, aux sonorités plus électroniques et même au vocodeur sur certains morceaux comme Pool ou Underwater , le tout pour un album gorgé de titres frais et dansants.
Pour ceux qui n’ont pas piscine venez le découvrir sur scène pour un live assurément efficace et magique.

From the porch to the swimming-pool, there’s no more than one step. And this step, we will make it with Aaron Maine and his band Porches with their last album « Pool » which came out last winter. The band was noticed with their first album « Slow dance in the cosmos » released in 2013 and fully recorded in the leader’s flat in Manhattan. A first album with spatial sonorities with a zest of folk guitar (yes it works perfectly well, you should listen to it). For this new test, they used synthesizers, electronic sounds and, even, vocoders on songs like Pool or Underwater, which creates an refreshing and dancing album.
