Jehnny Beth s’est d’abord imposée comme la charismatique leader de Savages, groupe post-punk nommé au Mercury Prize, reconnu pour ses performances scéniques intenses et son lyrisme sans concession. Son premier album solo, To Love Is To Live (2020), salué par la critique, a élargi cette vision — audacieux, cinématographique, et chargé d’émotion. Depuis, elle a multiplié les collaborations (Idles, Gorillaz, Sextile, Bobby Gillespie…) tout en poursuivant sa carrière d’actrice, avec des rôles remarqués dans Les Olympiades de Jacques Audiard et Anatomie d’une chute de Justine Triet, Palme d’or et Oscar du meilleur scénario. En 2020, elle crée la série télévisée ECHOES pour mettre en lumière des artistes émergents tels que Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C. ou Kneecap.
